This is the home of Mythosa, a land of darkness and legend. It is a place that has witnessed the rise of mighty empires, powerful city-states, and realms ruled by great warlords. It is also a world at the edge of darkness: old kingdoms collapse into decadence while humanoid tribes emerge to reclaim lands they once possessed. Ancient evils stir in their slumber, worshipped by dark minions who seek nothing less than the release of their vile masters. The civilized world is besieged by the insidious forces of chaos and destruction, slowly giving more ground with each passing decade. The time has come to stand fast against the darkness, to turn back the armies of the night, and to reclaim the land for man and his kin. It is a time for heroes to emerge, to walk in the paths of legend, and to forge legends of their own.

A number of updates added today: The Geography pages of the wiki have had minimaps added to show where the various features are located. The Miniatures page has been re-done and a couple of new pictures have been added. The link to The World of Khoras has been re-added to the links page (I'm not sure why it was removed in the first place). The TableSmith help file has been added to the TableSmith page. |

The revision of Mythosa has been completed and is now in a wiki. There's still a lot more to add, but it'll come as time goes on. In particular, more maps, more graphics, and a better visual presentation. But I wanted to get what I had up. Lots more to come... |

Mythosa.net returns from the dead! Well, only slightly dead; it's only been dormant for about 3 1/2 months. New stuff is coming but for the moment nothing is ready for the site. I did, however, change the layout slightly. I decided to move to a simpler top-based menu to allow for more space for content in the main part of the pages. And Mythosa is being reworked, but more on that when there's something more of substance. |

I've moved the contents of the Table Gallery to the Yahoo TableSmith group, since that's
where most of the table activity is going on these days anyway. I've also removed the Dungeon magazine index, since the last issue of the magazine had a full index and I didn't feel like finishing what I had.

The Magic Item Compendium treasure generator for TableSmith has been updated with all the correct weights and prices. The tables can be found in the Table Gallery. |

Issue #2 of the Mythosa Chronicle Volume II has been posted on the Chronicle page. |

I've uploaded a set of tables for generating treasure hordes based on the system in Magic Item Compendium. The weights and values for the items in the "Items"
table aren't complete yet (slowly working on it), but the generation system works fine. The tables can be found in the Table Gallery.
I've also uploaded a new, hex-based map of Mythosa to the maps page.
